About this Project

EP2EIT is a 36-month cross-border pilot project that aims to reduce the digital divide in rural areas. It will build capacity at three levels (individuals, community organisations and sectoral service providers) through training, mentoring and outreach.

A central part of the project is developing shared digital tools for existing organisations, including youth work groups, women's organisations and community enterprise centres. EP2EIT will strengthen the local digital economy and produce tools that can be applied in other areas to inform future policy and investment.
